Life Saving Instruction now offers American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim. ARC Learn-to-Swim is the most trusted and recognized program available. Along with leaning how to swim students also learn how to be safe in, on and around the water. Knowing how to swim is a great skill to have and can save a life. Drowning is the second leading cause of accidental death in children under 4. In the United States there is thousands of miles of beaches, rivers and lakes. Chances that you will come in contact with the water is quite great.
We offer swim lessons as a group, private and semi-private. Each option have its own unique benifits that may be best for your needs. All of our lesson options last 30 minutes once a week for 6 weeks.
In Group Lessons, participants have the ability to learn and encourage each other while receiving quality instruction. Group lessons include up to six students per one instructor. Participants are grouped together based on their swimming ability. The American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim Program outlines the skills that will be addressed in each level. The instructor teaches to the collective pace of all participants in order to achieve the highest rate of success. Lessons are provided for 30 minutes, once a week for six weeks.
In Private Lessons, the participant has the ability to develop their swimming skills at a faster rate due to the customization of the lesson. Private lessons provide a one-to-one instructor ratio. Each lesson is designed to meet the specific needs of the participant, which allows for greater self-direction and increased engagement. Lessons are provided for 30 minutes, once a week for six weeks.
In Semi-Private Lessons, participants have the ability to develop skills with a partner. Semi-Private lessons provide a two-to-one instructor ratio. Semi-Private lessons have all the same advantages of the private lesson; however, instruction time is shared between two individuals of like swimming ability. Lessons are provided for 30 minutes, once a week for six weeks.
