This course trains participants to identify and provide basic care for victims of sudden illness, such as diabetic emergencies, seizures, poisonings, stroke and allergic reactions. This course will also teach you how to identify and provide basic care for victims of injuries to muscles, bones and joints. You will learn how to control bleeding and minimize the effects of shock and care for heat and cold related injuries.
PLEASE NOTE: This course does not include CPR. If you need CPR, which includes compressions and breaths, see CPR course below.
Adult, Child and Infant CPR Full Course $65
The purpose of this course is to give individuals the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and provide basic care for breathing emergenciesin adults, children and infants. Teaches CPR for adults, children and infants to help sustain life till Emergency Medical Personnel arrive and take over. This course is not intended for professional rescuers but for those interested in learning how they can help in an emergency situation.
Adult, Child and Infant CPR Recertification Course $55
Course length is about 2.5 Hours. All the skills and information are gone over to better prepare students for the test. To be eligible to take this course the student's certification must be valid or have expired no longer than a year from the date of the course.
